2015 MusiCares Person of the Year

On February 6, 2015, Bob Dylan will be honored as the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year. This benefit gala is held during GRAMMY Week, just before the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles, CA. Greg Adamson’s painting of Dylan will be featured at the MusiCares event honoring Dylan for his extraordinary creative accomplishments. Adamson’s acrylic painting on canvas will be auctioned at the completion of the evening and is expected to raise thousands of dollars for MusiCares, which helps struggling musicians. This is the 7th consecutive year in which Adamson has created an original portrait painting of the MusiCares honoree. Prior honorees include Neil Diamond, Neil Young, Barbara Streisand, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Carol King.

The Parents’ Night Out: Valentine’s Wonder Package is $150 for two adults to enjoy Art d’Vine downstairs and one child (each additional child is $15 and must enroll at the same time) to participate in an art activity, with dinner included, upstairs in our classroom with adult supervision and assistants.

Artist Workshop: Supercharge Your Creativity
Upland, CA
Spend two incredible days with famed artist Gregory Adamson at his studio in Upland, CA. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a successful artist in his private workspace. Enrollment is limited to just 6 participants, so you will receive lots of personal interaction and feedback while working on your own paintings.
Greg will also demonstrate his working techniques and materials, plus will lead participants through painting exercises to guide you toward discovering your own unique artistic voice. This workshop is perfect for artists who think their work is too tight and needs an infusion of creativity or those who simply haven’t yet found their own direction. Greg will also share resource lists and nuggets from his own ‘hard knocks’ lessons on how to ‘make it’ as a working artist.
This workshop will be for acrylic, watercolor and/or mixed media artists. Oil paints will not be allowed. A supply list will be provided upon enrollment.
