Art d'Vine

Art d’Vine: Greg conducted an afternoon painting workshop in which 35 participants enjoyed great wines and snacks while following along with Greg step by step to each complete their own version of a Picasso painting. Art d’vine combines wine tasting, music and painting, conversation and laughter in a 3 hour afternoon class that is truly a guilty pleasure and suitable for both experienced painters and first time beginners. Asia Society Gala
Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, CA
Asia Society Gala. Greg performed at this annual black tie event where this year’s honorees were NBA great, Yao Ming and California State Controller, John Chiang. Yao waw introduced by future NBA Hall of Famer and current L.A. Lakers star, Steve Nash. The M.C was be television journalist/ personality, Lisa Ling. Greg painted a 6 foot portrait of the honoree, Yao Ming and amazed the audience by painting it upside down and then flipping it over to reveal the image of Yao Ming. When asked what he thought of the painting, the always humble Yao Ming responded “too handsome”. Greg’s performance painting of Yao was then auctioned for several thousand dollars.

For the 5th consecutive year, Greg will perform at the San Diego County Fair at Del Mar. He will do 3 performances of his Facing the Music performance painting, each featuring a different subject. Greg loves this event because the venue is great, the weather is always fabulous and the crowds are very nice to him.

Mistletoe Magic / Festival of Trees
6:00 p.m.Riverside Auditorium, Riverside, CA
Greg will perform his ‘Facing the Music’ at the elegant, Mistletoe Magic Gala, benefiting Riverside County Regional Medical Center Foundation. This will be the second time Greg has performed at this event which is part of the weeklong Festival of Trees. Funds raised help support critical Pediatric services at the medical center.
Due to the COVID pandemic, all of Gregory Adamson’s live performances and other in-person appearances have been postponed or cancelled until further notice. He does post regularly to Facebook and Instagram and also does live streaming painting demonstrations and classes, primarily on Facebook.
