Vibe: Looking like a ’60s hippie, Adamson is in touch with a very high-energy inner child. He made the connection, he said, when he realized that success in the corporate world brought him wealth, but left him deeply unsatisfied. Before he wrapped up his presentation by painting an exquisite, upside-down portrait of John Lennon – by using his hands while accompanied by many Lennon and Beatles tunes – he offered this advice: Changing your life doesn’t have to happen in a day. Imagine eating an elephant. You take small bites, and when you get to the last one, the task doesn’t seem so daunting.
